The Native Plant Society's 2026 Annual Meeting

Our society's Annual Meeting is an invitation- and registration-only event.
We look forward to an enjoyable afternoon of
fellowship, awards, education, and dining with society members
and guests.
Invitations with the registration form and agenda details were mailed in mid-September.

Time: 2:30 - 5:30 PM (New, earlier schedule).

Capacity: Space is limited to 70 attendees.

Our Annual Meeting guest speaker:
Rick Gardner, Chief Botanist for ODNR Division of Natural Areas and Preserves.
Mr. Gardner's presentation topic:
The Division of Natural Areas and Preserves, along with a great team of partners, are using modern technology
to create a new map of Ohio's pre-settlement landscape with more details and accuracy. "God have mercy on the Surveyors" is a quote
from one of the surveyors who surveyed the Ohio wilderness from
1785 to circa 1835.
This historical project brings notes
from forgotten history to the public. Mr. Gardner will share the findings and intertwine human and natural history
to share the past and how it may shape our future in conservation.
